The Arcantora Duo can offer an uniquely diverse programme for recitals: how about an evening with lieder and opera arias, violin and viola duets, music for viola and piano as well as beautiful music for soprano and violin?



We currently have these themes to offer but are always happy to tailor programmes to suit your taste.


Viennese Masters:

an evening of Opera arias including arias from the Magic Flute  and Marriage of Figaro, as well as Mozart's masterpiece for violin and viola duo: K423.


English Idyll:

including Holst's Four Songs for voice and violin and Britten songs, as well as Britten: Lachrymae.



Wonderful lieder by Schubert, Wolf and Richard Strauss


Brazilian Gems:

Including Villa-Lobos duo masterpieces for voice and violin and violin and viola


The Arcantora Duo is privileged to work with some of Britain's best chamber musicians who can supplement the ensemble for performances of larger scale chamber works.

Upcoming appearances

Sunday, June 2nd: 17:15- 18:00. Innerpeffray Library.

Nina together with David Christie (Violin) and Ilse McFarlane (cello) will be playing a programme featuring Scottish music, including

the Burns' songs O my love is like a red, red rose, Wilt thou be my dearie and Ae fond kiss, sung by Nina.


The recital will also include readings from the Innerpeffray Library's newly acquired collection of 1st editions of Scottish literature

Summer 2013: Holy Trinity Church, Stirling,  Nina and Mark plus Alistair Warwick (harpsichord) will play a recital featuring Baroque and classical masterpieces
